Chapter 4. Dinner
Yi Ruo looked at Shen Xi in the car, and in her heart she wanted to praise God for his eight generations of ancestors. With a slight surprise on her face, she said, "Mr. Shen, did you just get off work?"
"Yeah, I've been busy lately." Actually, it's not like that. He just didn't want to go back to an apartment where he was alone. Shen Xi looked at Yi Ruo and said calmly, "Come up, I'll take you home."
Yi Ruo thanked him happily and got on the passenger seat.
Shen Xi saw that Yi Ruo's hair was slightly wet by the rain, so he took out a tissue and handed it to her. "Wipe it." Then he turned up the air conditioner and drove out of the intersection.
Yi Ruo reached out to take the tissue, lowered her head and wiped her hair, then looked at Shen Xi, thinking that his wife must be very happy to have such a considerate, meticulous and mature man.
"You seem to be very busy recently," Shen Xi glanced at Yi Ruo and said with a smile.
"Yeah, I thought I'd be able to hold my head high, but who knew it would be such a tiring, complicated, small project with troublesome partners. I have to meet him on Sunday. Oh, it seems my day to come to the fore is still a long way off!" Yi Ruo said in an exaggerated manner, and couldn't help laughing, with a smile on her face.
Shen Xi also heard Yi Ruo's joke, and the corners of his mouth rose slightly. He said, "New employees are all like this. How can you be given a good job so easily?"

Chen Xi looked at Yi Ruo, who was supporting her face with her hands and leaning slightly towards him, and smiled, "I worked on a project in college before I got the job."

Shen Xi looked at the admiration and envy flashing in Yi Ruo's eyes, and said with a smile, "You can do it too."
"Really? Then I will be the boss in the future, and you will be the manager!" Yi Ruo said with a smile.
Shen Xi laughed out loud.
The two people were talking in a relaxed manner. The car was driving slowly on the deserted road. The rain was falling around them. The occasional thunder was covered by the laughter of the two people.
Yi Ruo was lying on the bed, looking at the WeChat of Shen Xi whom she had added just the day before. The two of them had occasionally chatted over the past two weekends, mostly Yi Ruo asking Shen Xi for advice on projects. The two of them had become more familiar with each other than before. Yi Ruo could feel that Shen Xi had a good impression of her, so he gave Yi Ruo a lot of practical suggestions.
Yi Ruo turned off her phone and closed her eyes.
In the evening, Yi Ruo looked in the mirror. Her long, flowing, slightly curly black hair was let down, draped over her shoulders in a natural curve. Her thick, slightly curly eyelashes and clear, bright pupils were matched with slightly red lipstick. She was wearing a white lace-trimmed shirt, a dark brown skirt, and a pair of black high boots. The simple design with a bit of workplace charm made her look charming when she wore it. She has always been proud of her figure. Although her face looks small, she has everything she should have.
Picking up her cell phone and small bag, she checked the time, took the documents and went out on time.
Arriving at the agreed restaurant, Yi Ruo looked at the exquisite decorations on the roadside outside the restaurant, as well as the receptionists standing on both sides, and couldn't help but wonder about the company's financial resources. This was introduced by a male colleague in the company. This restaurant has a cooperation with the company. It has several fixed private rooms and the reimbursement procedure is simple, so most employees choose to make an appointment to discuss business here.
Yi Ruo followed the receptionist to the reserved box, and was slightly surprised to see Shen Xi coming towards her as she passed by.
Shen Xi saw Yi Ruo, walked over and greeted her with a smile, "I didn't expect that you and Mr. Guo also had an appointment here."

Shen Xi looked at Yi Ruo helplessly, but his eyes were smiling. He saw someone coming at the door and said, "I have to get busy. You go ahead. Good luck." Then he walked towards the door.
Yi Ruo turned around and looked at Shen Xi, smiling and extending her hand to him. She narrowed her eyes, turned around and entered the box, and saw that there were already people in the box. The lights were dim and the scene was very chaotic. Several girls were sitting on other men's legs. Yi Ruo frowned, looked at the time, and confirmed that she had arrived half an hour early.
She wanted to go out and confirm with the waiter, but a middle-aged man in his 50s with a slightly plump figure but a greasy smile said with a smile, "Are you Yi Ruo from Yikan Group? Come in and sit down." After that, he put the woman down and nodded slightly to the seat next to him. The others also restrained themselves a little and let the woman get off them and sit up straighter.
Yi Ruo frowned, walked over, and saw that the chairs around were full of people. She had no choice but to sit next to the man.
"Hello, I'm Yi Ruo from Yikan Group, and I'm in charge of this cooperation project." Yi Ruo bowed her head and politely extended her right hand.
The man raised his hand and held Yi Ruo's hand, delaying for a moment before letting go.
"Please sit down. You can just call me Mr. Guo." "Today is the weekend. We thought we had nothing to do, so we came here early. I hope Miss Yi Ruo doesn't mind?" Although it was a question, it carried some unquestionable meaning.
Yi Ruo smiled and said, "Of course there is no problem. It's my mistake. I should have come earlier."
Yi Ruo thought that President Guo would go along with her and save face, but unexpectedly, after hearing that, he laughed and said, "It's really someone who comes from a big company who knows how to deal with things. Miss Yi Ruo, since you know you are wrong, why don't you have a drink first."
Yi Ruo frowned and smiled, "We should have a drink." With a smile, she picked up a new glass, poured a glass of wine, and drank it all.
"Okay! Miss Yi Ruo is really generous." Mr. Guo smiled and wanted to hug Yi Ruo, but Yi Ruo dodged without making a sound. Wanting to make a quick decision, she smiled and said, "Look, I've drunk the wine too. Why don't we talk about the project first?"
Mr. Guo looked at Yi Ruo and said with a teasing look, "We haven't even finished drinking the wine yet, how can we talk? No one is in the mood for it now."
The people around him also started to make a noise.
Yi Ruo thought that tonight was not a good night, so she began to deal with Mr. Guo with a smile.
But after two and a half hours, Mr. Guo still had no intention of getting to the point. Instead, she was forced to drink several glasses of wine and her body began to feel slightly hot. Yi Ruo thought to herself that something was not good. As soon as she came in, she was very careful about her wine glass and never let anyone else get close to it. However, she didn't expect that they should have put something to add to the fun directly in the wine bottle.
Seeing that the people in the box were becoming more and more excited and unbridled, Yi Ruo, dazed but calm, picked up her cell phone and some important documents and put them in her skirt pocket, stood up and said she wanted to go to the bathroom. When Mr. Guo saw that she did not take her handbag with her, he let her go.
Walking out of the door, Yi Ruo felt a little more awake as she felt the cool breeze, but her physical desire was gradually rising. Taking a taxi is also dangerous. She wanted to call the police and ask the doctor to send her to the hospital. But just as she was about to make the call, she saw the Bentley parked in the corner, and an urge to take risks arose. She walked towards the car with slightly unsteady steps, looked at the all-black car, and squatted down.
The cool breeze that was supposed to make her sober, but as time passed, it made her wander back and forth between sobriety and desire. The effect of the drug did not fade with time, but instead made her more impatient. It felt like many small insects were crawling on her body, making her extremely sensitive. She wondered to herself when Shen Xi would be back.

When Shen Xi arrived at the car, he saw her lying on the side of the car, her clothes tangled, her face flushed, her eyes dazed, her whole body curled up into a small ball. In this dark night, if he didn't need to get in the car, he wouldn't have noticed her without a closer look. The screen of the mobile phone she was still holding tightly in her hand still showed the undialed number 120.
Shen Xi quickly helped her up. The driver beside him looked at the woman lying beside the car in surprise, wondering if she was serious. Then he saw the boss frowning and helping the girl up and patting her face gently, saying worriedly, "Yi Ruo, are you okay?... Yi Ruo?"
