Chapter 2. Approach
On the way back, She felt that the elites around her were a little restless, both men and women.
Yi Ruo calmly slowed down her pace and walked past a group of men and women who were chatting and whispering. She saw a boy lowering his head and saying, "I heard that General Manager Shen is back. Someone saw him just now."
"Ahhh, I met him when I passed the elevator just now and said hello!! General Manager Shen is really friendly! It's amazing," the girl said excitedly, suppressing her voice.
"What's the use of being a lighthearted person? He's already married and he's 33 years old this year. He might even have two children. Tsk, can you women wake up?" Another man said sarcastically.
"Why are you being jealous? It's just Mr. Shen. I'm willing to lean on him even when he's 80 years old. What's wrong with that?"
The voice in her ear gradually became quieter. Yi Ruo returned to her seat and lowered her head to look at her documents. She thought that she might have a chance to change to another one, after all, Xiao Li wouldn't be around for long.
At the end of the get off work day, the cell phone placed next to her desk vibrated slightly. It was a message from Xiao Li, asking her if she wanted to go back together. Yi Ruo thought for a moment, and thinking of what she heard during lunch break, she decided to leave work later and rejected Xiao Li.
Many people left one after another, and the office became much quieter. The only sound left was the tapping of keyboards.

Yi Ruo picked up her cell phone and saw that the time was already 8:50, so she got up, packed her documents, and slowly walked towards the elevator.
She looked at her phone and saw that it was 9 o'clock.
Yi Ruo looked up at the elevator moving down from the 31st floor, picked up her cell phone, and used her hands to ruffle her hair a little to make her look more pure and innocent. She had just applied lip gloss on her lips, which glowed a soft red. She put her cell phone down with satisfaction and waited quietly while holding the documents.

The elevator opened and as expected, the man stood inside.
Yi Ruo's eyes flashed, and she said, "Hello, Mr. Shen," and entered the elevator and stood beside the man.
Shen Xi looked at the girl's unfamiliar face and replied, "New employee? Are you off work so late?"
"Yes, today is my first day at work so there are many things I need to familiarize myself with. I didn't say hello to you this morning because it was the first time I met you. I'm really sorry." After saying that, Yi Ruo seemed to realize that she had said too much and smiled embarrassedly.
Shen Xi then remembered the slightly shy girl he met on the way back to the office this morning, and said with a smile, "It's okay, we are all colleagues, just be casual."
"Are you the person recommended by Xiao Li to join the second department?"
Yi Ruo looked at Shen Xi with a little surprise. She didn't expect that he would know such a small thing. "Well, yes. Manager Xiao is very good."

Chen Xi looked at Yi Ruo's seemingly serious expression, but her watery eyes were filled with shyness that she tried hard to hide, and there was a hint of smile in his eyes.
Yi Ruo looked at Shen Xi's smiling eyes, and realized that he was teasing her, so she smiled too and said nothing more. The light Australian sandalwood and silky white musk blend together in a soft scent that slowly spreads between the two people.
Morning
"Good morning, Mr. Shen," Yi Ruo said with a smile as she looked at Shen Xi who entered the elevator.
"Good morning, have you eaten?" Shen Xi was still in formal attire, without a single wrinkle on his clothes, and the ring on his ring finger was as firmly stuck as ever, which would probably leaving a deep mark if he took it off.
After the accidental encounter at the beginning, until now when they often had the same working hours, Yi Ruo spent three weeks. In order not to make Shen Xi feel she is deliberate, she only dared to say hello every time, and never looked back after getting out of the elevator. Sometimes she didn't even say a word, just smiled slightly.

Shen Xi took a look and frowned slightly, "When did the second department become so busy? I see you come in early and leave late every day."

Shen Xi's dark pupils looked at her quietly, and after a pause he said, "It's good that you think so."
Yi Ruo looked at Shen Xi's gentle but faint expression, her eyebrows were curved, her eyes were clear, and she smiled and said, "Sister Yuan arranged a project for me. Now I'm someone who can do big things!" After saying that, she realized that she was bragging and couldn't help laughing out loud. But it also makes people feel a new employee's full enthusiasm and the wonderful desire to be valued by her boss.
Shen Xi looked at the girl's lively eyes, and a slight smile appeared in his originally indifferent gaze, but he said nothing.
